About the Program

The purpose of the State Touring Program is to bring live performance to every corner of the state. Funding to support this program is based on annual legislative appropriation. For more information visit http://dos.myflorida.com/cultural/grants/grant-programs/state-touring/

How it Works

  1. Florida-based artists or organizations apply to be on the roster. A peer review panel meets every two years to select a new roster. The next deadline for artists will be in 2015.

  2. Presenters (any non-profit organization) can apply for fee support to host one or more artists featured in the Roster. The presenter application deadline is every May 1st and the artists must be selected from the current Roster.

  3. Audiences across the state benefit from dance, music, and theatre by some of the state's finest performing artists!

Fee support for the 2014-2016 roster is available between July 1, 2014 and June 30, 2016. Presenters must work directly with the artist to arrange booking details.
